San Marcos park locked down
Sieben and I wanted to skate the SM park but were greeted with a chained up gate. Apparently the kids just wouldn't stay out the 99% completed bowl after being warned numerous times that the park would get shut down.
So, we went CFan ditch. Here's Mikey getting blog content for Vice. Needless to say, we crushed it here.
As the sun went down, we met Josh Palmer at the river and had a quick dip.

Due to a pending City Council agenda item relating to the BMX & Skate Park, we are – once again – in need of rescheduling the grand opening. The park will likely be finished around the 20th of May, and we will likely have a soft opening shortly thereafter, but the grand opening will have to wait until mid-June.
In coordinating with Parks and Recreation Department events staff, I was made aware that Council does not meet on Thursday, June 16th, so that may be an ideal date for the grand opening.
Please reply at your earliest convenience if you have a conflict with this proposed date (I would like to accommodate as many of you as possible).
