thanks to everyone that came out to karate foot's closing show last night. good times for sure. i had a few to many and drunkenly spouted out to sieben "hey dude, you look like a young ben stiller!" while we were looking at some slides of the old school austin skaters. i woke up this morning and remebered the stupid comment and decided to see if there was any truth to it. nope. i just guzzled down to much booze to quick. i apologize michael. now off to king fest to eat chocolate spores, skate and camp.

my old roomie, the infamous Rez

when coming home from work at my old place on garden st. i would never know which Rez i was going to encounter. on this particular evening i showed up and the record player was blasting michael mcdonald singing "keep forgetting." i automatically knew which Rez i would be getting. PARTY REZ!!! he comes around the corner dressed in tighty whities, a tank top, a fadora and cowboy boots. i ask him if he would mind if i did a quick sketch of his awesomeness and of coarse he didn't mind but he insisted on keeping his hoarse balls dangling for the pose. it made for a very quick sketch.
